ViVetha Bistro opened in 2005 at 2485 Queen Street East, at the east end of the Beaches. Chef Siva Thambinathan still calls it an Italian-French fusion room: breakfast through dinner, the neighbourhood table for people who already live on that stretch of Queen.

The official history page says food critics have long treated the hike to Neville Park as worth it. A sister shop, Vipei, later opened toward the Bluffs. This note is the Queen East house.
