Rahier Patisserie has been the neighbourhood bakery at 1586 Bayview Avenue since 1996. Francois Rahier's official house still calls it a friendly neighbourhood bakery: bread, pastries and sweets, baked every day. South Bayview's walk is the room. Handmade, all-natural, European fare they will not fake.

Croissants on Rahier paper, tarts, macarons, a cake list that runs from opera to the seasonal plate. A mid-July Sunday put the name on the statement three times — same shop, one post. The photograph is the official croissant board.
