Canoe sits on the 54th floor of the TD Bank Tower at 66 Wellington Street West. Oliver & Bonacini opened it in 1995 as a contemporary Canadian room that looks at Lake Ontario and cooks from the rest of the country.

The official house still talks about connecting people to place: farmers and suppliers from across Canada, a chef’s rail, a view that has been doing the work for thirty years. Lunch is Bay Street. Dinner slows down. The menu is Canadiana with a knife and fork — not a costume.
